Friday, May 8, 2015 -- Week #12 - Day #81 - San Pedro Sula

10:15 pm
Today was kinda crazy. Good, but crazy. We had to go to the hospital to get the results for the elder that fell down the wet stairs a few weeks ago, turns out that he has some fractures in his lower vertebrae. We gotta go buy an immobilizer belt/brace thing for him to use, and also a few urgent citas tomorrow morning, and buy medicine for the missionaries also.

But we got to work our area today, got some lessons in and talked to some really neat people, so that was wonderful. Except our night was cut short as our elders called and asked us to come administer a vaccine to one of their less actives they're visiting, as they don't know anyone who can give shots. So we ran for 20 minutes in the rain to the elder's area, arriving all wet, and Hna Robles gave the shot to a guy who has chikungunya with a 106 degree fever. And then walked all the way back to the house. And planned and had a snack and answered a plethora of phone calls, and got ready for bed. So this has been the most interesting night I've had so far, I think.
