Wednesday, March 02, 2016 -- Month #12 - Week #55 - Day #380 - El Dorado, La Entrada, Copan

Today we did a Supercontacto in our area again, our 3 companionships went all throughout Miraflores, the biggest neighborhood that is ours. We found a LOT of people. Not many of them will progress right now or are interested, but we did contact them. And we found out that in a pulperia over there they sell flaming hot Lay's potato chips, so of course we bought them (kinda expensive, 8 lemps for the little bag, normally we buy the 2 or 4 lemps kinds) and enjoyed them. They're not actually that spicy, but they taste good.

We also ate green mango and green plum in one of our citas, which was a new experience for me. Any green fruit just tastes like acid, there's no fruit flavor and it's just sour. Makes your teeth feel weird. And then your stomach's messed up for the next few days. But, in line with tradition, you eat green fruit with salt mixed with pepper and cumin, and chile and lime is optional. Vive Honduras, where you rarely eat ripe fruit and it's always with salt!

And we did some more visits, and got ourselves ready for the Noche de Hermanamiento that we were in charge of. That went smoothly, short and sweet, and we headed ourselves home.
