Thursday, July 28, 2016 -- Month #17 - Week #76 - Day #528 - Las Flores, Villanueva, Cortes

"Keeping the Sabbath Day holy is a refuge from the storms of this life."
- Elder Quentin L. Cook
We had interviews with Pres Bush! It was really different than with Pres Dester, but still good. Mostly we just talked about my last few days and the scheduling of meetings and conferences and trips to SPS and whatnot, and if I felt that Hna Vasquez needed to stay in the area with someone, or if she could have a week in La Victoria like I did, and how the ward's going, etc. Mostly it was giving info and helping him make plans.

And we finished teaching Lucia! And filled out her baptismal record, so it was fun to do a bunch of algebra to figure out birthdays and ages of all the people involved. Some people don't remember the year they were born, but they remember how old they were when something happened and how many years ago it happened, so you just gotta work around things and jump some hoops to get the dates.

And we went and visited a family and the dad just wouldn't let us talk, so I lost my patience just a little bit. But we did manage to talk about faith. Faith is important.

So we had a good day, we're tired!
And my beautiful (tired) face!
