Thursday, July 2, 2015 -- Week #20 - Day #136 - San Pedro Sula

Hospitaling from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm, so that wasn't too bad. Taught some good lessons, met some good people.

Turns out that Hno Luiz Diaz (the one that has the heart condition) is red/green colorblind as well. He sees green as a sort of reddish-brown color, so that's interesting. I think I would miss the color green...it's one of my favorites.

Also, the avocados are different here than the ones in the states. Instead of being wrinkly and more slender and dark, dark green, here they're smooth and round and a deeper lime green, actually very pretty.  And they seem to have a milder taste, as well. They are soooooo good!  Hna Fidelina usually puts an avocado half in our lunches, she's awesome!
Cobie always comes over and rubs his head on your legs and feet and snuggles around them when you visit...he's a wonderful huge ball of fur!
And there was a guy just kinda walking around in the middle of the road this morning on the way to the hospital, just happy as can be, without a care in the world. Good thing the taxistas are good drivers is all I have to say.
